aaccli for amd64

Posted in Linux distributions by Salyzyn

Serqiuzs asks:
is there aaccli util available for x86_64 platform, in the best option working directly in Debian? I can see it on Adaptec site 386 versions, only.

386 version of aaccli works on x86_64 installations.

The replacement for aaccli, which was only made available in a 32 bit version, is ArcConf which is available in 32 and 64 bit versions. You may be able to use ArcConf on legacy products, however, we recommend using the tool that was shipped or updated with the card.

Could you please provide a direct link from where aaccli can be downloaded? Unfortunately I was unable to locate it neither by seacrh form on adaptec website nor by googlling :(

I have found this to be not the case. The aaccli executable will not run on my x86_64 system. The reason it doesn’t run is because it’s a compiled for 2.2 and modern linux distribution use 2.6. Adaptec, please release updated software for your users.
